modifications > Feimster Fabworx Intake Scoop
Why did I purchase a new Intake scoop?
I already have an Eventuri intake on my GR Corolla. However, I never really liked the Eventuri red "ramp" that is supposed to feed air into their front intake scoop inside the engine bay. When datalogging, I noticed the intake air temp was never able to reach ambient (2 degrees F higher). I considered purchasing a Velossa Tech intake and trimming it to fit. Goal is to get ambient air into the Eventuri intake.
In steps Feimster Fabworx from the GR Corolla Forum. I purchased the 3D printed intake scoop from his Etsy site [Feimster Fabworx]. It's truly a work of art. Feimster maxed out the intake scoop size based on the working dimensions of his 3D printer.

Materials:
- Intake Scoop (Etsy.com)
- Push retainer clips (Amazon.com - shop spares)
- 3M double-sided tape
Tools:
- 1/4" drive ratchet with 6" extension and sockets (10mm)
- Combination wrench (10mm)
- Flat-blade screwdriver
- Side cutters
- Scissors
- Pliers
Notes:
1. No wiring plugs need to be disconnected.
2. I already have an Eventuri intake. If you have a stock GRC airbox, the upper intake scoop extension will fit into the front of it.
3. Unfortunately, the front bumper needs to be loosened at the top. Good luck if your bumper sides pop out later. I did a DIY fix on mine.
4. Reversible back to stock.
